This feature automatically enters the customer’s full address on entry of the postcode. House numbers may sometimes be included.

The postcode database itself is a specially compressed version of the Royal Mail’s Postcode Address File. It only takes up 7MB of space.

It will return all elements common to that postcode (street, town and county together with company name, building name and house number information where stored).

It will recognise changed postcodes and substitute the correct new version where necessary.

The cost includes all licence fees, including Royal Mail’s, for one computer for one year.

The data files are typically updatable annually but may be made available quarterly at an increased cost. Please ask if you require this.

This option costs £180 p.a. (the equivalent of £15 per month). This is cheaper than most postcode facilities currently available (VAT not applicable).
